Water eject for Samsung Galaxy

🔊 Volume full · 📱 Speaker facing down

Uses a low-frequency tone (165 Hz), the same idea as the Water Lock eject on smartwatches. Remove headphones first.

Muffled Samsung speaker after rain or a splash?

Galaxy phones are water-resistant, but water still stays in the speaker grille and makes the sound muffled for hours. A low-frequency tone vibrates the speaker membrane and pushes the droplets out much faster than waiting.

How to do it

  1. Volume to maximum, disconnect Bluetooth headphones.
  2. Hold the phone with the bottom speaker facing down.
  3. Tap “Tap to start”, wait 20 seconds, then play the test sound.

If you see a “moisture detected” warning on the charging port, do not charge until the port is dry — this tool cleans the speaker, not the port.

FAQ

Does it work in Samsung Internet?

Yes, and in Chrome too. No app is needed.

Will it remove the 'moisture detected' warning?

No. That warning is about the USB-C port. Let the port air-dry.

How long until the sound is normal?

Usually right after 1–3 runs. If not, let the phone dry for a few hours and try again.
