How the touch test works
- Tap Start touch test — a grid fills the screen.
- Swipe with one finger over every square, including the edges and corners.
- Squares turn blue when touched. Tap Done when finished.
- Squares that never light up point to a dead touch zone.
Touch not working in one area?
- Remove the screen protector — air bubbles and thick glass cause missed touches.
- Clean the screen and dry your hands.
- Restart the phone: software freezes can look like hardware faults.
- If the same squares fail every time, the digitizer may be damaged — a service centre can confirm it.
