How to test vibration
- Hold the phone in your hand.
- Tap Short, Long, Pattern or Buzz.
- If you feel it, the vibration motor works.
No vibration?
- Check that vibration isn't turned off in Settings → Sound & vibration.
- Battery saver modes can disable vibration — turn them off and test again.
- A weak or rattling vibration can mean a loose motor; a service centre can replace it.
iPhone: Safari doesn't allow websites to vibrate the phone. Check haptics in Settings → Sounds & Haptics instead.
